LINKHUB24 SAFETY GUIDELINES

Welcome to LinkHub24! Whether you’re listing products for sale, offering services, selling homes or land, seeking a job, meeting new people, or sharing events and experiences, your safety is our top priority. The following are the guidelines to be followed to ensure a smooth and hitch-free use of our platform.

ARTICLE ONE (1)-Protect Your Personal Information

1. Avoid Sharing Sensitive Data: Never share your personal or financial information such as bank account details, passwords, or other sensitive personal details through the platform unless necessary and in a secure environment.

• Communicate through the Platform: The platform’s messaging system should be your first means of communication rather than sharing personal email addresses or phone numbers right away unless trust has been built.

ARTICLE TWO (2)-Verify Listings and Offers

1. Ensure to carry out your research on the legitimacy of some listings even as we do our best to verify some listings, please before making any purchase, hiring a service provider, or engaging with a listing, verify the legitimacy of the listing or seller. Look for reviews, ratings, and other user feedback.

•  Check out Red Flags and be extra cautious of listings with unclear descriptions, extremely low prices, or promises that seem too good to be true.

ARTICLE THREE (1)-Secure Transactions

1. Use Secure Payment Methods while making payment. Ensure that the payment method you chose is a secured one to reduce the risk of fraud to the barest minimum.

• If the offer involves a deposit or full payment upfront, ensure it is part of a reputable process. Avoid paying in advance unless you are sure about the legitimacy of the transaction.

ARTICLE FOUR (4)-Protect Your Property and Location

1. When listing homes, apartments, or other properties, avoid sharing your full address publicly unless you intentionally want to. Consider using the platform’s private messaging or inquiry features.

• When meeting in person for any transaction, especially with strangers, choose a public, well-lit location. Avoid meeting at home or in isolated areas.

• When meeting people for any business transaction ensure to let your friends or a family member go with you and always share details of your location.

ARTICLE FIVE (5)-Job Listings and Applications

1. When applying for jobs, ensure the employer’s legitimacy by carrying out extensive research and findings on the employer. Always be cautious of vague job descriptions and unverified companies/employers.

• When a job is posted on LinkHub24, and interest is shown for such a job, the employer should ensure to carry out an extensive background check of the party seeking to be employed, enough data should be collected on the supposed employee.

• Avoid paying for jobs posted on LinkHub24 as Legitimate job listings would never require you to pay a fee for applying, training, or obtaining materials. Report suspicious job postings on LinkHub24 to the platform.

ARTICLE SIX (6)-Service Providers and Contractors

1. Always check the qualifications of job applicants before employing them or giving out contracts to contractors. Verification of their credentials, understanding the extent of their experience, and the customer reviews on previous jobs done and services rendered.

•  Proof of professional qualification or license to carryout that profession or insurance (where applicable) should be provided.

• Always ensure that both of you (parties) agree on the services to be provided, the cost, and timeline for the execution of the job or project before embarking on the contract or employment.
• Almost all agreements should be in writing for possible and easy reference in the future in the event of disagreement or other possible outcomes.

ARTICLE SEVEN (7)-Car Sales and Rentals

1.  Always inspect the vehicle and request maintenance records before finalizing any sale or rental agreement. Consider getting a professional mechanic’s opinion if needed.

• Make sure the vehicle to be rented or purchased is not a stolen one as LinkHub24 will not be liable to any such issues coming up.

• Ensure to carryout all necessary paperwork e.g transfer of ownership, registration, etc. are properly drafted and completed when buying or selling a car.

• Ensure to change plate number after purchase of the vehicle and obtain other necessary documents.

ARTICLE EIGHT (8)-Hotels, Service apartments and Travel services:

1. When a hotel, travel booking or an apartment is reserved in your name, ensure to double-check the hotel, apartment or travel booking details, such as dates, prices, and amenities, with the provider. Use secure payment methods for booking.

• Log in to the site of the hotel, travel agency to seek for reviews from previous users and patronisers of their services. Also look for reviews from other trusted sources or verified users to assess the quality and safety of the hotel or service.

• Always ensure to let at least one person know the hotel or travel agent to be used by you and put the person on notice of your movements and where about.

ARTICLE NINE (9)-Meeting New People and Dating

1. Exercise care when meeting new people online.

•  All initial messages should be exchanged on the platform until trust is secured and even so all personal details should be kept private.

• When meeting someone you met on the platform for the first time whether for relationship or business If you plan to meet someone in person, choose a public and safe location for the first meeting.

• Always go with a family member or a friend, if you cannot go with a family member ensure to let them know your location at possible time.

ARTICLE TEN (10)-Events and Gatherings

1. Before attending events posted on our platform, confirm the organizer’s identity and event details.

• Be cautious of events that require payment before providing full information about the event or organizer.

• Before going for any event ensure that the local regulations for social gatherings in that location is strictly adhered to and local health safety regulations and other health concerns are followed to the latter.

• Always make sure to know if the gathering is not unlawful in the sight of the laws of the location within which the event is hosted.

•  For your ow safety always be on guard and let a friend or family to aware of your location.

ARTICLE ELEVEN (11)-Report Suspicious Activity

1. All suspicious activities on LinkHub24 should be reported to the platform. If you encounter a suspicious listing or feel unsafe during any interaction, report it to the platform immediately.

• To ensure your safety all reports made by you on the platform are always done anonymously and your identity is protected to the latter.

• We encourage everyone to report suspicious listings and activities as report and attendant action on suspicious activities help maintain a safe environment for all our users.
• If you feel harassed or threatened by a user, block them and report the issue to platform support.

ARTICLE TWELVE (12)-Follow Local Laws

1. Always adhere to local laws and regulations when listing, selling, buying, or interacting with others. This includes respecting intellectual property rights, contract laws, and property regulations.
